      The Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) for the proposed La Quinta Peninsular Bighorn Sheep Barrier Project is available for public review and comment.

 

     The purpose of the Project is to address the urban-related impacts of Peninsular bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis nelsoni) using artificial sources of food and water in urbanized lands, including golf course, resort and residential areas.

 

     The public comment period for the Draft EIR will commence at 8:00 a.m. on January 13, 2017 and end on February 27, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
